WHAT MY CLIENTS HAVE TO SAY
DONATE FOR A GOOD CAUSE
Located in beautiful Franklin, TN, White Fawn Farm serves children, youth and adults with special-needs and life challenges and also offer services that include family members of the participants. Their client population of special needs include physical disabilities of weakness or limitations, cognitive disabilities, learning challenges, developmental delays, sensory processing disorders, social emotional concerns, sufferers of PTSD, non-verbal challenges, depression/anxiety, and life-threatening diseases.
The recreational and social aspects of this program create an atmosphere of restoration and joy while learning new skills during the interactions with therapeutic horses. The on-going relationship between an individual and his/her horse fosters a sense of connectedness, empathy, freedom, independence and joy.
As the program grows, they would like White Fawn Farm to be a place where families of special needs members can support one another. They foresee support groups forming as a result of the relationships that will develop from this program.
